Glasgow’s Rapture 4D signs off Coyote Records’ 2022 with ‘Gang Green Riddim’ – a scything, bone-crunching instrumental first teased with clips lifted from Cartoon Network’s Powerpuff Girls earlier this year.

A producer with a history that belies his years – his back catalogue already boasts releases with Slimzos and Jon Phonics’ future-facing Astral Black imprint, as well as his own PLASMA label – Rapture 4D has been a consistent source of in inspiration in the wider instrumental grime orbit for the past six years. As a producer, he’s also worked with everyone from Manga St Hilare to Grim Sickers, proving as adept behind-the-buttons in the studio as he is running the dance.

To be released on limited-run, hand-stamped 10” dubplate, ‘Gang Green Riddim’ also comes backed up with a special remix by Commodo – a legendary figure within UK electronic music, himself fresh from two mind-bending records on his freshly-minted Mysterious Trax imprint.
